SUMMER READING
CONTEST!
Between June 27 and August 28, get a photo of yourself reading in a special place this summer. It can be near, far, high, low, alone or with a buddy. Send that picture in for a fun treat in the Library when school starts back in September. Let your imagination run wild as you think of new places to read! Here are some ideas to get you started.
Ask your parents to email your photo to [email protected] between June 28 and August 28. Be sure to let us know who is in the photo & where you are. If your parents add their permission in the email, watch for your photo to show up below!

- Read in a fort made of blankets, under the kitchen table, on a beach, in a swing
- Read to a dog, your favourite stuffie, with a friend, with a neighbour
- Read wearing a hat, in pyjamas, upside down, curled up in a bean bag chair
- Read far away, perhaps under a special sign that shows where you went on vacation
